In recent days, the 100,000-kilowatt Wind Power Project in Luobuzhuang, Xintian Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, undertaken by the New Energy Company, was connected to the grid at full capacity.

This project, located in the Gobi Desert of Luobuzhuang, Ruoqiang County, Bayingoleng Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, selects 16 sets of EN-192/6.25MW WTGS (Wind Turbine Generator System) from Envision, which takes 3 blades, horizontal shaft, upwind direction, variable speed, and pitch control. The total installed capacity is 100 MW, with a hub center height of 105 meters, a wind wheel diameter of 192 meters, and a sweeping area of 28,953 square meters. During the same period of the project, a 110kV step-up substation was built.

After the project is put into operation, the annual equivalent full-load operation hours will be around 2,400 hours, and the annual on-grid electricity can reach 240 million kWh. Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same scale, this project can save about 78,600 tons of standard coal per year and reduce carbon dioxide (greenhouse effect gas) emissions by 209,000 tons, which is of great significance to ensure the energy supply and achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutral.
